Submission Rules & Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in submitting to the PepeDust collection. Please review the following before submitting.
Accepted File Formats
- JPG / JPEG - Standard photographs and artwork
- PNG - Recommended for pixel art and transparency
- GIF - Animated artwork accepted
File Size
- Maximum file size: 3.1 MB
- No dimension restrictions — submit at any resolution
- A 48x48 pixel thumbnail will be auto-generated from your upload
Asset Name
- Must be a valid Counterparty token name
- Uppercase letters and numbers only (A-Z, 0-9)
- Subassets are not accepted at this time
- The asset should already be registered on the Counterparty network, or registration should be in progress
IPFS
- Providing an IPFS hash for your artwork is strongly encouraged
- IPFS ensures your artwork persists on a decentralized network
- If you don't have one yet, you can add it later using your shortcode
Description
- Keep descriptions clear and informative
- HTML tags will be escaped for security
- Describe what makes your token unique or its role in the collection
Artist Attribution
- Your artist name and email are required
- Email is used for submission notifications only
- Social links (Telegram, Twitter) are optional but recommended
- Your artist name will appear in the published token metadata
Your Shortcode
When you submit, you'll receive a unique shortcode like:
PD-7X3K9M
This code is your key to:
- Check status — See if your submission is pending, approved, or rejected
- Edit details — Update description, links, and social info at any time
- Post-approval updates — Even after your token is published, use your shortcode to update non-structural fields
Save your shortcode! It will be emailed to you and shown on the receipt page.
Review Process
- Submissions are reviewed manually by the curator
- You will receive an email when your submission is approved or rejected
- Approved tokens are assigned to a series and published to the public gallery
- Rejected submissions can be revised and resubmitted
License
All published tokens in the PepeDust collection are attributed under the BY-NC-SA (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike) license unless otherwise specified.
